....pose serious match-up issues tonight.
Why? We'll be in a zone most of the night, I suspect. I doubt Fran will give Jackson much opportunity in a one-on-one by playing man-to-man against them.
Playing a zone does not make them unathletic.
Jefferson was a monster the other nite. Austin,Jackson, and Jefferson all are NBA prospects...1st rounders and lottery for Austin, possibly.
I agree that we will need to mix and match our defense possession to possession,as we befuddled Md the other nite with that. Zone will be a needed part of the equation, but must find their shooters...Jackson and their ''oglesby''.
They lost to Iowa State twice and oh yeah, NORTHWESTERN BY 20...AT HOME!!!
Are you saying Pierre Jackson is a potential first round draft pick? Because I can assure you that he is not.
That was eons ago in the college bb world. They lost 8 of 11 in the middle of the season, with some injuries, but finished by winning 7 of 9,with a 23 pt win over #1 seed KU and a loss at ranked OkSt by two points. They are playing their best ball of the year, and have NBA talent that is maturing.
Honest question...
Marble > Jackson or Jackson > Marble?
Is it because Marble is a ballhog? If Marble consistently played like he has these past couple of games and it was against top talent (is the NIT top talent?), then Marble is the answer. However, that has not been the case when looking at his entire body of work, so right now I'd go with Jackson.
Heslip, Walton and Jackson are all small guards, how do they match up with our 6-5, 6-6 starting backcourt?
