Phil Steele article on close losses



Sounds about right. I dont know if I would base it solely on how many games lost by how many points, but I have a feeling, that was just another tid bit that supported his break downs.
 


We will know by the Pitt game if this will be a special season or not. Health on the d-line and o-line are going to determine the fortune of this season. I have a lot of confidence in Vandenberg and the rest of the skill players. One thing that isn't often mentioned is that all 3 of Vandenberg's games were down to the wire. That is good experience and he has shown he doesn't wilt in tough situations. If Daniels and Binns and stay healthy I am confident they will lead the d-line to a solid performance this season.

The schedule is a dream, possibly even better set up than last season.
