Certainly some interesting stuff. Jackson was the 2nd highest rated defender, though no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to these all season.
Jewel no where to be found on the top 2 teams. Probably reflective of his pro potential and future draft spot. One Hell of a college LB any way you slice it, and I would guess he will continue to defy expectations going forward.
They evaluated Hesse as an interior DL, and he made 2nd team. A. Nelson made 2nd team as an edge player (I believe he has one of the highest pressure per snap rates in the conference). I wonder about the future home for Hesse and Epenesa along the line. You could do some pretty interesting things with both of those guys in pass-rush situations. Heck, throw Simon and Golston into the mix as well.
