Nice interview. Sounds like the kid has his head on straight.
From article:
TH: What current players have you grown close to during your visits to the school? Did any of them help make your decision for you?

PJ: I've gotten to get close with Gesell, Josh O., Seth, OK, and Mells. I mean they're all great teammates. I just got to hang out with those players more.

Who are Seth and OK?

Not sure who Seth is but the other one is Okey Ukah. Never have heard of him. Must be a walk on from Kirkwood.

OKEY UKAH UPDATE: McCaffery said former West High center Okey Ukah will be a practice player for Iowa this coming season before joining the team as a walk-on next season. McCaffery said the 6-7 Ukah won’t be cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse until next season.
“So he’ll practice with us every day,â€￾ McCaffery said. “But we’re excited to have him. I really like him. Next year he’ll be an official member of the team.â€￾

Wouldn't it be something if when Jok is 100% he returns to the level of play that was antisapated when he was dubbed one of the top recruits in the country? Wow, what a group Fran is putting together. Opposing coaches will be taking on the Dukes of hazards character Roskco P Cotrain especially that cheese head Bo over in Wisconsin. "Ew I hate those Iowa boys."

From article:

TH: What do you say to people who may say that you will change your mind if some other big schools get back into the mix?

PJ: To me, how people recruit you, is how they'll treat you. And Iowa recruited me very well so I know they'll take great care of me. I am part of he tHawkeye family now, and I'll never leave my family.

Good interview. I had my doubts that he really was that committed to his Iowa commitment. This makes me think otherwise (and that we have a winner as a coach -- some good insight on how he and his staff approach recruiting.) Thanks for posting.

I wasn't sure either, but PJ seems like he's definitely committed to Iowa. Hopefully he can get back to 100% and be the player everyone expected him to be.. It sounds like this is what Peter's doctors expect (a full recovery) so I'm definitely excited! Great get for Fran and his staff. Keep 'em coming!

Anybody ever figure out who the heck he meant by Seth? Maybe he said Dev and the reporter wrote it as Seth?

Seth Bonifas perhaps? Maybe they visited the campus together at some point.
I kinda doubt that since Seth hasn't committed, but I suppose it's possible. One other thing I thought of is maybe he said 'Sapp' which is Clemmons's nickname.
