Peter Jok maturing

I just glanced at the boxscore and would take this out of Pete every game.
19 Minutes
2 assists
4 rebounds
3 steals
0 turnovers
7 points

This line for Pete shows what's most important in the maturity process. Being reliable and contributing in variety of ways. OK, I would also like to see him score more than 7 pts. And please lose the finger roll......

Now all he needs is a moped flag :). Seriously though, he will probably be our 3rd best scorer by the end of this year and our 2nd best scorer next year.

Love to see his minutes go to 28-32 per game and play JO the scrub minutes he earns.

He's getting noticeably better. When he learns how to fight around/over screens he will be much better on D. Sometimes get lost when screened.

He's made some great strides this season on defense. He still has a ways to go but he is definitely maturing. He just needs to play defense on every possession. He still tends to get lazy at times and took a couple possessions off today and got sent to the bench once because of it.

He has the potential to be a great scorer, just needs more confidence which is slowly coming along. He is starting to take shots now that he passed on earlier this year. Needs to pull the trigger more, I think he's our best 3 point shooter.

I remember he started really strong against OSU both times and against Minnesota. I think there was at least 1 more but can't remember for sure. He definitely seems to come out of the gate firing lately. He is due for a huge game soon.

I agree his defense is getting better. I saw a nice steal he had today against OSU disrupting a passing lane, it was beautfiul.

No question PJ is maturing. But, the whole team, slowly but surely, is also maturing. One game at a time, folks, and we may even lose the next two on the road, but this could end up being a really, really good team by the end of the season.

Jok is coming around. If he is coachable and I have no reason to think he isn't. Fran is going to make him into one heck of a player. He still has a long way to go on D and sometimes even knowing where and what he should do. But I think the future is bright. Uhl is going to be good too In a couple years those two and Trey will be the leaders

I would like to see him get his average up between 12-15 points a game, and I think he eventual will. He is starting to come around. Mike's game is also starting to come around. The guard position is improving.

Definitely like what I've seen from Jok, and Uhl looks very promising as well. The team as a whole seems to be playing much more like a team instead of a bunch of individuals like last season. And they've had several chances late in games to fold and ultimately lose like they did the last third of last season, but they've been able to hang tough and close games (first tOSU game, Minnesota, Nebraska, etc.) The second half of the MSU game was ugly, but that was a once a season shooting performance from MSU. Sure, Iowa didn't play great, but it would have been down to the wire if MSU had actually missed a shot. All in all I'm liking what I'm seeing this season more than anything I saw last season.
