It certainly would not hurt if football recruits attended basketball games in a full, rocking arena. I am sure KF is all for someone like Pearl brining some excitement to Iowa City.

Just watched the North Carolina vs Iowa clips from 88. at the end of it you could see Bruce Pearl jumping up like a little kid after the hawks won. He would still do that today if they won a big game. TL would just stand up. Would be fun to have a coach that shows that type of excitement. He would be a great asset for KF as a another person who would BS with all of Hawk recruits not just bball.

That sound a little immature to compare coaching styles that way. We have one of the best in our football program and I've never seen him jump up and down........and FWIW Lick has never really won that much to see whether he would react differently in different circumstances.
