My take is that the projections are based on him acquiring a 3 point shot in college. I don't know the numbers, but it seemed his FT % was rather high. If a high school guy can shoot free throws at a high clip than he should be able to add the 3 point shot. He still has time to learn that shot. Seems like today....more people learn the 3 before the free throw.

I agree with others if this doesn't happen then I don't see the projections.

Exactly. Look at Baer. I he attempted one 3 in high school then shot almost 40% his first two years here. Quote from when Baer exploded on the scene: “Coach (Kirk) Speraw is our shot doctor,’’ Baer said. “I didn’t need major surgery but he gave me a few tweaks. Just to get more arc on my shot.’’

Maybe Patrick needs major surgery on his shot, but he has a couple years to get there and I guarantee he's working on it.
