Patrick McCaffery Clip from Top 100 Camp

That would be nice but unlikely. Tom's first team as an Iowa coach was the most talented Iowa team I have seen since I started following Iowa basketball back in "76".

Then there's the team when Lester was a senior. That was a very special team as it was an extremely tough team. The starters played so much that they were given the nickname the "Iron Men".

Would be great to see the current roster and incoming recruits become that good. Not ruling it out. GO HAWKS!!!

Would be very difficult to match that team.....

Should have been National Champions that year. My brother was living in Seattle and purchased tickets to the games against Oklahoma and the winner of the Wyoming/UNLV games.....

I hope Fran runs into Calipari at one of these camps or an AAU league tourney and Patrick continues to move up the top 100 list. Calipari supposedly told Fran, "don't be out saying I stole a player (Ulis) from you, you will never get a player I want, ever." Fran can say, "Hey Cal, make a run at my boy if you think you can get him. You are wrong pal...and you still are a major tool who cheats."

The way you wrote this makes it sound like Cali actually said that about Ulis but Fran's response was hypothetical about Patrick. If Cali really said that, I mean, what a.....

Cal said that to Fran about Ulis? Why have I never heard that before? Ulis was going to Michigan State anyways if he didn't go to Kentucky so not sure I believe that

I doubt that. These guys don't burn bridges. Cal has huge advantages Fran doesn't. Cal's cheating is probably over played and if someone makes that claim as a coach, better make sure you are squeaky clean.

This means one thing to me...Fran McCaffery has some serious job security right now.

The worst thing you can do with an employee is tell them they can't be fired. Postal workers and teachers - crummy at their job cuz the majority of them can't be fired.
