Pathetic and embarassing

We seem to be the only team that is incapable of having an "on" night. Not only are we extremely unathletic, we have shooters that can't make shots--all of them. We can't even keep the game competitive until half--way to play inspired ball guys. I don't even hope for wins...just to keep it competitive and they can't do that. 23% shooting ? Really? Once again our opponent shoots lights out.

We are lucky we aren't down by 20. Check, we are down 20. Unreal.

Ummm not to be racist but aren't African Americas better at basketball? Why are we the only team besides Duke that plays a majority of white guys? lol.

Terrible shooting mechanics...out of control shots, flat shots, not setting up square...I can't believe a team with Kirk Speraw as a coach would be this fundamentally flawed.

Really the only guy with a good looking shot this season is JOsh Oglesby. Matt's shot still looks good too. Other than that, maybe McCabe's shot. His is much improved. Other than that, not really many good looking shots from the guys. Plenty of open looks.
 
This is the most pathetic team, hum, maybe ever. Its like a junior high team. It isn't just the shooting which maybe can set a record for the worst shooting percentage in the country, its also that they just suck. Anyone see Cartwright drive the lane and throw a pass to Brommer who was maybe 18"'s from him. Are you freakin kidding me? Why would you do that when you are a senior major college pt. gd? I thought McCabe was going to show us something, or yeah, he did. Unfortunately his 4 rebounds and 5 pts were all in the first 3 minutes and then he disappeared. Can anyone set a pick? And then you see Stokes come in and at least give a great effort. He has some skills, maybe looked better than Wasabe. Yeah, what about him, 2pts and 1 board. All B1G freshman last year. Really? I am seeing a black hole here. The end is near.
 
Those hot dogs were absolutely disgusting, too. Probably leftovers from the football season.

This team has no leadership and everyone is too scared to shoot the ball. Maybe scared isn't the right word, but nobody wants to shoot.
Hell, they can't even make layups. I guess I'd be hesitant to shoot the ball 15 feet away if I couldn't make a damn layup.
Carver is going to be VERY empty the next 3 months. It's unfortunate, but you can't blame the fans. The fans showed up at a record to start the season and they filled Des Moines during the Creighton game. The fans WANT to attend, but who the hell is dropping $20 a ticket to watch this mess?
