Paper: One-year OSU post-season ban, four more schollies, show-cause to Tressel

Oh, I get it. You act like everyone here are idiots because they thought something more was going to happen. And then, when it does, you act like you were only agreeing with what OSU was doing (because they had all the info, right?) and never had any actual opinion of it yourself.

Right. Sure, buddy.

I thought the NCAA may take more schollies than the 5, personally I didn't expect a bowl ban. I knew those of u that thought OSU would get USC type sanctions obviously were dreaming or were grossly misinformed.

See? That wasn't too hard.

This won't last long, if you wiki Jim Tressel: James Patrick "Show-Cause" Tressel (born December 5, 1952)

“We are surprised and disappointed with the NCAA’s decision,â€￾ athletics director Gene Smith said in a statement. “However, we have decided not to appeal the decision because we need to move forward as an institution."

This statement cracks me up and pisses me off at the same time. Smith is basically saying no way we are going to appeal because we got off better than they thought they would. They got off easy so of course they want to move forward as quickly as possible. Nice work NCAA...way to lay down the law.

fufred + credibility = destroyed

So much for no bowl ban that you've been spouting off about. I hope you guys go undefeated next year and miss out on the NC.

Does anyone else besides me have an issue with the following....

Greg Sankey, associate commissioner of Southeastern Conference and an infractions committee member

Well that just doesn't seem right now does it? Hello my name is conflict of interest.
