Paige vs. Gessell Friday night

Didn't know this was taking place, but it should be a good test for both on Friday night. After MG's performance in the AZ tourney, I don't feel like we are losing that much by not getting Paige.

I am excited to see Gesell, but by no means would I ever pass up a player like Paige. Had Fran been at Iowa sooner, I think both would be going to Iowa. That said, I cannot wait to see MG running the show next year.

At least Fran was able to put an end to O fer that the Iowa schools had been pitching against UNC, Kansas and Wisconsin.

It crazy to think how good of a team someone could have had just by keeping all the instate guys from the last three years.

Its got to suck being an ISU fan knowing you not only lost Barnes but now to realize how good Mcdermott really is.

I can't imagine what it would be like if those guys were from Iowa City.

I think that entire Ames High team could have gone to ISU and they'd finish no lower than 3rd in the Big12...the further away we get from that team, the more we find out just how damn good they were..."scary" comes to mind...
