Pack the house tomorrow night!

Let's go hawk fans! I'm hoping we can at least get 13,000 in the building tomorrow. The football game, being a Friday, the season opener and the optimism surrounding the team should hopefully lead to a lively environment tomorrow night.

Games are so much more fun like this!

On Iowa and Go Hawks!

I'd like to go, but I have so much knitting to do. Is there any possibility they would let me bring it in with me?

Only if you sit in the first 5 rows and leave with 10 mins to go to beat traffic no matter the score or who Iowa is playing.

I wish I could afford to sit that close. I occasionally like to look up from my knitting to see what the players are doing, and there are always people standing up. I scream at them to sit down, but 10 seconds later, they're up again.

Get a full-time job instead of writing 50 posts a day here. Giving blood and a paper route are only a part-time jobs. Try dancing on the sidewalk for Taco Bell; you would be perfect.

It's not polite to scream..no matter what. Stick to your knitting.

What is this, an NIT game where they let fans in who yell and cheer for the team??

There will be a nice turnout for the game. When 12,000+ show up to see an exhibition game then I would expect at least 13,500. Should be good time.

Definitely excited about trying to make at least a couple of games this year in Iowa City. Will most likely shoot for weekend games because sometimes too hard to make the trek from Des Moines during the week. Was so nice to watch the Dayton game on television and hear the excitement back at Carver. Iowa fans are definitely passionate about basketball; but we just had so many years of regression.
