This is an odd spin on things. I want to be positive about the future of Iowa basketball, but what it was missing this year, was somebody like Johnson, with the ability and the stones to step up at the end of a game and find a way to win. Iowa just seemed panic late in games and found ways to let it slip away in too many cases. We need a leader on the floor next year. Who will that be? I don't know, but I hope we can get it figured out.

His stat line is good, but not great. Kinda surprising - especially for a guard POY - to not have higher PPG numbers.

Yeah I was really surprised... either the Pac 12 is lacking in stand out players or this was just the best guy they could find from Arizona.

Seems like a pretty dime a dozen player. Decent shooter but not great, decent scorer but not great... no other great stats.
