You know what a place like Iowa should do? They should collect money but only pay out a small percentage of what they collect. Then once every 5 years or so have a bunch of money saved up to try to put together a really good team.

It is no secret that Dix and Freeman had waaay better offers thrown their way than what they were currently getting at Iowa.

Yep. And this is why NIL should be a bigger priority than who the next coach is. It’s sad, but it takes money to get the requisite players to play in late March if you’re in the big ten. You can deal with the coach once that happens. Not saying Iowa is going to come up with the money, but it’s required first
