How does JayBo not get OW over Ness? Ness didn't do anything special but wrestle his seed. JayBo took down the kid who hadn't been taken down all season and wrestled above his seed, while going undefeated. Just saying. They probably didn't want IOWA to win everything, which is bs.

Obviously I wish that match was 15 seconds shorter, but as it is Ness is a good choice for OW. After getting taken down, it looked like a light switch got turned on and Ness showed right then when it mattered most that he should get this award.
Now for Hodge, I hope JayBo gets a strong consideration from those who pick it.

I agree, Ness needed a last second desperation move to win his match. Jaybo dominated a kid like he hadn't seen all year. I think that and what Max Askren did is more impressive.
