Ovrer 70% of Iowa FGs are assisted

Iowa's A/FGM percentage is 70.8%.

That is just terrific. It's can be attributed to the teams Iowa has faced, but it also shows good ball movement. This isn't a team that can create a lot of their shots off the dribble, so that stat is encouraging.

70.8% is 16th in the nation.

I agree the ball movement has improved. As has our shooting. Many coaches preach making the extra pass, or even the extra-extra pass. That's the shot that's wide open. More often than not, splash. Go Hawks!
Can't wait for a real game this Sunday. Even if we lose, Fran is building this thing.

Shots look 100% better from last season.

McCabe and May's shots specifically look night and day better. Much more smooth and not so mechanical.

Very good sign, extremely unselfish team, always looking to pass, team chemistry is very good and will only get better....
