under. SDSU isn't a bad program and they will play defense. plus they play a slower style of offense that will eat clock
wouldnt be surprised to see a 62-57 final score or something like that
SDSU gave up 80+ points almost as many times as they gave up<70 last year. And their scoring totals were all over the map. The Hawks may not blow them out, but it will be a much higher scoring game than 62-57. I could see 80-75, but the score won't be in the 60's. Just because they beat ISU last year doesn't mean they aren't a bad program.
Why wouldn't someone argue against your prediction? If they feel it's wrong and put stats up to back it, surely they can argue against it. It's not like you are arguing that raccoon tastes good or something.please, continue to argue my PREDICTION though...

If a team returns a lot of players under the same coach, you'd think some of the stats would be similar.
because it is pointless. it is what it is. I made my prediction and cited why I chose to go with it. the case I made for why I chose what I did is just as valid as his, is it not?
had I said "30-35 both teams are pathetic" or something totally insulting like that, then I could see arguing it. Iowa will be without their returning leading scorer in their first game against a team with a pulse.

62-57 - Iowa wins
The point is the poster read your prediction and argued it with facts, that's a legitimate disagreement.
Furthermore, any knowledge you think you might have on the Iowa basketball program will always be marginalized because you are a Cyclone fan. It's just the way it is until you earn respect from posters on this board.
What does last year, or their game against ISU have to do with anything (two years ago)? can I say that Iowa will be horrible and only break 50 this year like twice based on last year? NO, things change from year to year. we're talking this years teams, not last year.
They play a set offense, not run and gun, that will slow things down and bring the score down a bit. they also bring some guys back from last year, players do improve and grow over the off season. I don't think there is as big of a talent gap between Iowa and them as you'd like there to be. Too many people have a raging boner over an exhibition game win.
I'll stand by my prediction. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Iowa loses.
please, continue to argue my PREDICTION though...
