Over/under on Hill commitment to Michigan: 1 week

They need to allow early signing, until they do the rich will just get richer. The big schools lose one of their 15 4 or 5 stars to another power, they just pluck one of the 1 or 2 that teams like Iowa get.

And say what you want, stars matter. Take a look at the average star ranking for the classes of the past 10 national champs, I bet you it is very high.

Not to be "that guy" but shouldn't this be under recruiting?

Also I am really hoping he doesn't leave and considering he just talked no more than a week ago that he is really close with Laron Taylor and Ruben Taylor I don't see him switching unless he is a huge Michigan fan and his family wants him to play closer to home and lean on him to switch.

This thread should be deleted. It's the same as the other Hill thread. Just because they have received an offer doesnt mean it's guaranteed he will accept. He could have accepted other offers this whole time from high profile schools. I just think it's ridiculous to believe there is no chance he sticks around. He hasn't contacted any other schools, all have contacted him. Wouldn't surprise me to see him on campus next year.

Not to mention the over/under is a gambling term regarding the total points scored in a game... it doesn't even make sense in regards to this topic. Over/under what exactly?

Also, I read just a couple days ago that he felt 'at home' with the recruits coming in and the coaches, and said his last visit was the greatest of all 4.

I think 17-18 year old kids should be allowed to change their minds. We pay coaches a billion dollars for a reason and one of those is to run a program good enough to keep kids from decommitting

What good would an early signing do for anyone. If a hs kid early commits, then changes his mind.No big deal.. so he sits a year..the kid would most likely redshirt anyway. The highly rated kids can wait as long as they like since they know there will be somewhere for them to land. Only the marginal rated kids does early signing work in their favor so they can lock down a scholly.
