Over/Under on B Smith at 2.5 catches

I'm putting the over/under on Brandon Smith at 2.5 catches. Any takers or comments.

I'll take a chance and pick the over. Just barely. He'll have a couple of drops in there as well. He needs to develop a case of amnesia about the troubles he has been having, and do his best with things moving forward.

Hell, you could have the same O/U for ISM, Easley or Young.

I was just rewatching the game from last weekend and watch Brandon Smith's catch on this play (top of the screen at the 2 minute mark). Its actually pretty impressive. He doesn't even locate the ball until its over halfway to him.

Um, are you talking per game here, bud? I mean, that's a helluva big number for this offense unless we work 6 tunnel screens into the rotation.

3 to 5 catches should be about right. He's due to get more targets. Along with Easley. This will be our cupcake game where we can work on things. I just hope we get up big early and can rest guys in the 2nd half. I want us to be as close to full strength for the following week as possible. Not that I'm looking ahead or anything...

He made a big play so he'll have some confidence now. I think his hands will soften and start catching some passes.

I'll take the over on Easley as well. It's time to get him back to where he was last season. I'll take under on ISM even playing this week. Take under 2.5 on Young and Groeneweg.

Over 2.5 on both Fant and Hockenson. Under on Wieting.
