Duffman, aren't you a basketball official? What was your take on the officiating tonight?

Too bad. If there's a replay (doubtful), would be good to watch. Pretty awful officiating and the stripes seemed to lose control midway through the second half. UNI players were falling down on the slightest contact and the officials were buying it. Some calls that angered Iowa fans (McCabe's charge for shouldering into the UNI player and the technical for slapping the ball away after a foul was called) were probably correct, but frustrating in the context of everything that was going on.
I rarely think officiating plays a role in the outcome, but in this case it did. After the series of fouls and technical shots taken by UNI, a good, close game up to that point was essentially over.
