Ferentz confirms Ott tore ACL. Said one of Mitchell or Wadley will likely see some carries.

Yeah, neck stinger, I figured he'd be back vs NW... Also Boetgger came back to play 2nd half against Illannoy, why is he a firm "OUT" now? This is baaaaaddddd..... unless NewKirk is playing some reverse psych games. Which I would applaud.

They only need to generate a little bit of offense......they don't have to become Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

I see a Hayden Fry type of game plan, just like last week. Scratch where it itches. 11 straight Canzeri carries? That was classic Hayden Fry, that was not the boring Old Kirk. I don't see him turtling just for the sake of it. For the RBs, I bet it's Mitchell with the carries first, and if he can't get it going, we'll see Wadley, in that order. Too bad for Ott, that really sucks, for him, the team and us fans, but the way that injury happened, that knee was ready to go, it just so happened to be on that punt. If he'd have been on the bench, it would have happened on the next play or play after that.

Exactly. Don't be surprised if we punt on 2nd down if we don't get more than 5 yards.

We seem to have some decent bounces going for us this year, much like 2013. Close games....opposing team turns ball over in final minutes/drive to seal a victory. Not scoring TD's in second half of games (big10 games).

We have a few differences this year from it being 2014...

Strong leadership (see if this changes with Ott out for year)
Playmakers (CJB, King, Canzeri....T.Smith)
Strong Special Teams

And really, that's really been KF formula for good to great teams. Throw out 2002 which had an offense, and it's always been about defense, turnovers and leadership.
 
Myers has a neck stinger. It is affecting the strength in his arm. They won't clear him unless he has 90% strength back. I believe last week he was close to 70%. Hopefully after the bye week.
