Also, what is the context of the .083 winning percentage? Ranked teams with winning records in conference? It's definitely not overall.

I absolutely root heartily for the Hawkeyes, haven’t missed a game in decades, but since The Brain has taken over and kept flying this thing into the ground repeatedly, and he and his dad have given the exact same lip service—verbatim—for the last three years instead of trying anything different, I expect to get beat by any team with a faint pulse. I could care less about any bowl game, beating shit ISU squads, the AP poll, or strictly being a team that upsets other teams’ seasons while not being relevant themselves.
What I’m after as a fan is winning at least some games against good conference teams, and being consistently in the picture for the Big Ten West. It starts there. I’m not asking for the Big Ten title every year, and I’m certainly not expecting the CFP. It starts with winning the division, but even with the facilities and salaries being paid we don’t compete. The Hawkeyes are atrocious against decent teams, and I’m sorry...it doesn’t mean dick to beat Rutgers or Nebraska four times in a row or whatever, when you just get trucked by relevant teams every. single. time. and get knocked out of your division.

Has nothing to do with ranking. Hawks are .083 since Brian took the OC against teams finishing with a .500 conference record or better. Which are obviously the teams you have to beat to win a division.
We beat shit teams all day long, but that does nothing for winning the division when you can’t even remotely compete with better teams.

Lol no I didn't. I never thought we were going to beat Penn State and I was very skeptical of us winning in the big house.
