Our average starting field position in the 2nd 1/2 ...

Was barely past the 10 yard line with our best being the 20. Our D was playing lights out and we had a 2 score lead. With all of that we really should have opened up the playbook, huh?

They did decide to open it up on one drive in the 2nd half.. Don't remember if it was 3rd or 4th quarter. A few passes and we were in PSU territory, but we didn't score. After that point, it was late enough in the game where the coaches clearly had decided to just put the game in the hands of our defense.

I still remember the one sequence where we dropped what looked like a sure INT on a 3rd and long, and then PSU's punter pulls a 73 yard punt out of his arse and we're starting inside our own 20..

That punt was amazing considering he had just shanked the crap out of his two previous ones. Timing couldn't have been worse for the Hawks too, since we had finally flipped the field on them. Then they boom one that rolls to our 15. I was praying Sandeman would catch it in the air, but he got burnt.
