Other bowl games

It hit me that Rutgers and Kansas State are similar- both developmental programs, like Iowa.

Neither can stop the other tonight

That KSU/Rutgers game was bizarre. Rutgers put up over 300 yds of offense in the 1st half and scored 27 pts. They drove the ball down the field their 1st possession of the 2nd half to go up 34-17. After that, KSU decided to literally blitz on every Rutgers offensive play...with great success. Rutgers had a long punt return which led to an easy TD for their final score, but I think they had something like 60 total yds of offense the entire 2nd half...virtually nothing for the last 1.5 quarters. They had no answer for KSU's blitzes, even when they knew it was coming on every play -- which really surprised me. Coaching malpractice by the Rutgers OCoordinator to not make necessary and obvious adjustments.

I know this will probably change with the next round of the playoff games, but these lower tier bowls are MUCH more fun to watch. Multiple overtime games, thrice!!!
I think it should get better with round 2 of the playoffs, but tell me in what world do Boise St. and Arizona St. deserve byes over any team that won their first round game. Unfortunately I'm prepared to see two amazing playoff games and two that have a round one feel (hopefully I'm wrong) but absolutely mind blowing how they seeded the playoff teams. In what instance in the history of playoffs of any kind has the number one team in the country ended up with the absolutely "worst case" scenario road to a championship.

Agree. Wasn't ASU something like 17th in the country before they "knocked off" Iowa State and got an automatic bye?

Iowa St’s offense is looking really good. It’s amazing how they continue to crank out QBs, RBs and WRs that play in the NFL and those same positions Iowa doesn’t. We got TEs, Linemen, LBs and DBs. Combine the two teams and you really got something.

Anyways, go Hurricanes!!!

Double Campbell's pay to bring him to IC and keep IA D coaching in place. Might make playoffs 50% of time.

Have to admit I cheered for the Clones. They do live in Iowa after all…

Now watching a comedy of errors, BYU vs Colorado. Prime’s kid has taken sacks that must zero out their rushing yards.

Go BYU!
