The Penn State truthers that come out of the woodwork on Twitter are a special breed of animal. I took up the hobby of trolling them for a while but it was just exhausting. They’d literally look you in the eye and say that grass is blue and 2+2 is 5.

I wouldn't be shocked that such a prominent program would find a way to turn one of the biggest piece of shit to ever be associated with a university and turn his name into a "verb" used as a hazing ritual that surfaces around the program to this day. Who needs morals and values when your winning football games.

Nothing that comes out of Penn St surprises me in the least. This kind of stuff is pretty G rated for them.

I'm not against some good natured hazing, but there is a line which is intuitively obvious. These claims, if true, are way past the line such that no reasonable person would think this conduct was okay.

My guess is they would have gotten like a 5 year death penalty under the old regime before the TV contracts got huge. Problem with killing PSU is that it would have harmed the other Big Ten members.

It actually helped them because JoePa was running a system that looked like a 286 Dell PC compared to the 486 Compaq PC (with the turbo button) Kirk is running. And there was no way to get Joe out of there unless there was a scandal and he would have lived to be about 104 if he didn't get fired.
