What do you think of them? Anyone go out and get one, cost? I've noticed there are a lot of them out there now.

I think they look really nice on black and gray vehicles and okay on white vehicles. Anything else looks pretty meh.

They should come out with old school black lettering on white, too.

My mom hated the new one that isn't black. She is retired, so she called me about every other day complaining about it and the lack of availability of black plates. Every time she is down here, she gets mad jelly about the variety of plates available. The state will even give you an In God We Trust plate as a free option (used to cost money and the state donated it to a church but the federal court struck that down so the state started giving them out for free if you wanted one). Or if you want a confederate submarine plate commemorating the HL Hunley, you can get that, too. Any charitable organization can get a plate commissioned for $6800, so there must be like 100 different plates here.

I have them and really like them. I have a black Subby Outback. I think looks rather nice. They aren't too expensive. I think only $35, non-personalized. I didn't get personalized and asked the guy to just find me one that had letters/numbers that was easy to memorize.

You used to have to order them but now they are in the courthouses or auto registration. My b-day was in September so just picked up when I renewed. Easy Peasy.

I also think looks nice on black or white. I think is weird on most other solid colors, like blue, green, etc.. Prob look OK on an orange or off-white, though.
