Same as Barta at Iowa, the new guy ain't gonna make any firing decisions of the head football coach. He might be the guy on TV announcing it if it happens, but that decision gets made at the mega donor level.

His farewell statement was a joke. The guy presided over the worst 4 year stretch in football history and the basketball team has finished near the bottom every year since he has been there. LOL

I am sure Frost knows this impacts him. If Nebbie goes 5-7 or 6-6, Moos could scream progress and need for patience. He is attached to the hip with Frost. Whomever the new guy is (does Trev Albert finally get called home???) he may not be so patient with a coach who has not had a winning season in 4 years at a once Blue Blood program in a weak division.

I still think 6-6 and a bowl game allows him to keep his job either way. Another losing season? He's gotta go.
