Marquette who got as high as 10 in the AP just lost their 4th strait game. Today they lost at home against Georgetown. They had a golden opportunity to win the Big East and a late season slump cost them.

Thought that could be of some interest to Iowa fans.

I was just getting ready to start a similar thread but thought I would make sure one hadn’t been started.

ISU - Lost 5 out of 6 & 6 out of 8.

Every year it seems to happen to several teams. College basketball is a long season.

The troubling thing is it’s happened a few times to us and it’s hard to pinpoint exactly why. This current slide is most frustrating just due to the fact that we’ve gotten crushed in each game. Need to get it turned around in a hurry.

Nova kinda stumbled to the end.
A handful of teams in the 17-30 range did.

Iowa just looked like the 2018 Body Snatcher variety.

That's why Iowa isn't a bubble team.

But then Drake loses two of its top 3 players and still wins a regular season co-championship. Loses its best player in the quarters and still wins. And UNI "crushes" them by two in the semis minus their top 3 players.

Props to Drake and Devries. That team never felt sorry for themselves.
Too bad they won't make the Dance.
