Unsure if hiring agent or not.
I still think Ohio St is a Top 15 team preseason without him, maybe higher.
I sure hope he sneaks into the 1st round. I like Thomas...solid player and never saw him talking garbage to the other team. I hope he sticks if he does go in the 2nd round.
I don't think this is a huge shock. He has a son that is a little over a year old. I suspect this may have been a factor.
I'm glad he's leaving, although I have a bad feeling OSU will actually be better without him. They had to hide him defensively and they tended to lean on him on offense for long periods of time. I can easily see a more balanced offensive attack improving OSU next year, especially if Ross makes a major leap.
It will be interesting to see if Thomas sticks in the NBA, the dude can get buckets but he's a bit of a volume scorer and is a tweener on defense.
False. Woodbury, Marble and McCabe = 3 on Iowa alone. Moron. And in other news, the world is round.
It's easy to see who is going pro. Thomas has a kid and there's little to gain by him coming back, OSU will be good regardless. There's only about 1-2 guys in the BIG that are "on the fence"
Preseason don't matter, brah. How many games did they play in April? How about us?I still think Ohio St is a Top 15 team preseason without him, maybe higher.

Don't see them being better, when he didn't score, they didn't win. Ross has kind of broke out, but this is over a short span, not sure if he will long term, or can the that go-to guy when Thomas is gone.
OSU will be a top-25 team, but can't see them a top-15 team. Craft will have to be a 15+ pt scorer on a game to game basis, don't see that happening. Take away his right hand and well, he is done.
Marc Loving will determine how good that team will be. If he gets stronger, he would be my early favorite for Big Ten FOY and he plays with a ton of effort on every play. He started as a Jr. on the same all-star team as Woodbury/Gesell/GR3 that was on ESPN last Spring, kid can flat out play. If Thomas were to come back with him in the fold, I would say Top 5 team, Loving could be that much of an impact player, if and only if, he comes in stronger than he was in HS.
We aren't yet at the same level as OSU but Thomas leaving them is the same as if Marble left IA this year. Who's going to be the go-to scorer? You know OSU has the talent to be a top team, but how is it going to shake out with the numbers and chemistry?
