OSU VS PSU

If osu wins, we will have the big stage in two weeks, and should have game day feature for it.

The only other half-way decent match up for top ten teams that week will be Florida-South Carolina.

If OSU beats PSU, both should easily stay in top 25 BCS standings the rest of the year, giving us 4 teams we have played and beaten in the top 25 BCS standings.
 
If we are one of the best teams in the nation, why not have OSU win, and set the stage. I certainly understand if PSU wins and we beat NW, the rose bowl is pretty much in the hand.

However, I just feel this is out time, this is this programs time to turn a corner down a road never seen before
 
I would think that an outright Big Ten Championship would be a step in the right direction. Just enjoy the ride and don't think to much. It can only hurt the ballclub.
 
true, but having gameday there is more ammo for OSU then it is for us. I think we have had plenty of national attention, and a win against OSU, "IN THE SHOE," speaks for itself, whether they are 9-2 or 8-3. It also takes OSU out of the big ten race and puts them into a spoiler role, a position buckeye fan isn't used to being in.
 
I would rather see PSU stomp OSU and possibly jump over a couple other 1-loss teams in the BCS. Having a quality win over someone else in the top 10 would be impressive. If OSU beats PSU and then we beat OSU people would just say "Big deal, they lost to Purdue also".
 
If PSU beats OSU than we would get them coming off a loss. How amny times in the last 10 years has OSU lost back to back games?
 
How many times have they faced 8-1 PSU at Happy Valley and then faced 9-0 (hopefully 10-0) Hawkeye team back to back?
 
I am definitly a huge PSU fan this week, who cares about College Game Day, ESPN can kiss my ***. We need to enjoy the ride that these hawks are taking us on!!!!
 
All that matters is getting to the Rose Bowl...therefore we should all be huge Nit fans this week. Go Lions, Go Hawks!!!
 
I am a HUGE BIG TEN FAN THIS WEEKEND! I hope their game is a 35-38 shootout and they beat the crap out of each other! That way OSU is dawg tired and hung over from their big game, when we come to town!

All joking aside, it should be a good game, but I am praying to go we win this weekend! We finished strong last weekend and ironically both us and NW have the same problem. We both start slow, and finish strong! Could be a good 4 quarters of football on Saturday!
 
PSU will win this weekend. I don't see the OSU offense putting up many points on the PSU defense.

i am going a step further , i say PSU 34 OSU 17 . I think Prior will throw an interception or fumble the ball getting hit , and leave the game after its pretty much pointless and give us the " look im hurt rotuine " after a bad play. I also see a winded OSU defense that will be shattered by the run , bubble screens , and quick outs , come end of the 3rd quarter i look for OSU to be gassed and thats when the pain comes.

If they're coming off a loss at Happy Valley, they'll know that the Rose Bowl is out of the equation whether they beat Iowa or not. The best Ohio State can hope for if they lose to Penn State is the Cap 1, and that's only if Iowa and Penn State both go to the BCS.
