Orne

I have noticed Orner getting some pt on goalline situations in the game wearing #95. It looks to me like he is a leaner athlete than I though. Would like to see if he could get a push at DT. Hey I say at this point we need all the help we can get at those spots so if you're a beast like Orne you want in. Anychance that ever happens?

don't know if he'll get on the court anytime soon, but we do need some help down low. maybe he could play the PF.

all joking aside, i doubt he makes the switch unless he has some background in it.

I played basketball on Orne's team in a camp once. He an amazing athlete and could have been an really solid mid-major hoopster. It's a little late to move him to the other side of the ball permanently, but in spot situations, I can see it working out.

And I would absolutely take him on the basketball team. He might not be able to make a huge impact in games, but he would at least be a valuable practice player.

going back to the OP's post, with the penchant for fart jokes and all that, i can see "Orner" going viral around here much like ostrich has. has all the qualities of the old stross thread, but with more of an innuendo, of course.

Give Woody the ball! We could use a 6'5" (that's 6'7" in basketball height) 290ibs PF with hops, bumping shoulders with some of the big boys on the schedule. Royce & Sullinger need someone to push then around. Having one of the uglies, who are trained to push people around, works for me!

I laughed at the 6'7" in basketball height comment. Too funny.. :D
