If Illinois is the 12th rated team in college basketball then college basketball is down this year.

Also, giving up over ninety points just illustrates a continuous problem for Fran. Football and Basketball programs are inverse of each other from an offensive/defensive perspective. Hopefully the new OC in the football program can help improve that.

So frustrating to watch Illinois run the clock down then drive at will right to the basket with under seven seconds left. Maybe as some have said they just ran out of gas. Good effort though over all.

Yes at that point Iowa needed to sag and if they hit the three so be it, giving the drive killed them. Iowa was right there, Perkins for some reason refused to pass the ball, turned it over and shot us out of the game. But we probable wouldn’t been in the game without him. Now we play a red hot Penn State team, I checked tickets going for $3.00 a ticket! Don’t expect a crowd.
