I chatted briefly this AM with Larry G. at the ream hotel. He is the Orange bowl rep responsible for Iowa. I asked if he was satisfied with the Iowa turnout. He said he was very pleased especially for a mid-week game and the state of the economy. He said hawks outnumbered GT by at least 3-1.

That's sad for GT fans since they can make the drive down in a day. Hawk fans either needed to fly or drive 20+ hours.
