Opinion of Hawkeye Nation

I'm a student at the University of Tennessee and from Iowa. I have lived in Tennessee for 14 years but always have been a Hawkeye fan. Obviously the two teams played Wednesday so we went to Dayton since it is a short drive from Knoxville. My friends told me it wasn't right that I cheered for Iowa since I went to UT and lived there for so long. I cheered for Iowa anyways. Should I feel wrong here at all? I realize this isn't even as issue but I just wondered the opinions of many on this site. Thanks guys. Go HAWKEYES.

Glad you've remained a Hawk fan! No reason you need to remove your love for the teams of a certain school from your life just because you move away from that area. Lots of people are fans of several teams.. some people are fans of a certain sport in general but not especially of any certain teams in that sport. Don't worry about it. Enjoy what you enjoy. Life's too short for you to have any concern about what others think.
