Just saying there was a time when 1,000 tix would not even be available for the biggest cupcake on Iowa's OOC schedule, much less 24 hours before a rivalry game.

You can thank Todd Lickliter for this! Fran is doing his best to get it back to sellouts everynight but it is going to take a while for that to happen. In no way was anything that Todd Lickliter did ever considered a coherent thought, may god have mercy on his soul.

Ticket sales were on the decline before Lick got there. You can place the blame more heavily on the way Iowa handled Dr. Toms exit, the AD who hired Lick him, and bad marketing over the last 2 years. Just my 2 cents.

It is sad that Hawk fans can not already have this game sold out. It’s a Friday night game! I work two jobs or I would be there.

Those are good points, guess I am still just ****** how low Lickliter took this program.

I would be there but living in Urbandale, it would be half by the time I got there and it isn't worth a 3 hour round trip to see half a game.

I watched every game of the lick years it was horrible. Let me restate that: I started to watch every game and sometimes I fell asleep.

I do sort of agree with your comment. At the same time i would think there are more than enough families/people out there that do not have high school games to attend somewhere.
