One of the Best First Half Offensive Perfomanaces I Can Ever Remember

Against Indiana and we gave up a million yards too. I am glad to see the O step it up, but we will have to score 30 per game to have a chance to win the remainder of the season. The D is not getting any better and if a true frosh can gash us, I shudder to think what UM and MSU will do to us. Indiana, like NW, set season highs in offensive output yesterday.

I think the D was better last week. More yards given up, but lots more effort up until the game was in hand.

There was no intensity the first two drives. None in the stands either, for D that is. Still, the D won't have cheering crowds on the road, where we have yet to win.

I should not quibble. It was a beautiful, sunny day with the offense clicking and McNutt going McNutts. Money.

I agree. The defense has to play better. I think win number 6 is within reach next week. What really worries me is trying to eek out a couple more wins in the final four games. Purdue looked better today and that should be the easy one.
