One lock ND is a FF lock ...

Banned
they win on the road vs Stanford they are in ...

top 20 schedule
manhandled Pitt on the road
41 on USC which Sagarin has ranked 10th

god the Hawks getting shafted by Rockne and Company would sting worse than any ISU loss in the KF era (save 2002)

With Clemson beating Florida State they control their own destiny was well.

But Notre Dame winning at Stanford will not be an easy challenge. My worry is that a 1 loss Stanford could jump Iowa if they win that game and then beat Utah in the P12 Championship game.

So after we hear the justification for the Big 12 not getting in because they did not have the extra game to play like OSU did, ND gets in? That would be total BS!!!

Definitely dont want ND winning on the road at Stanford and then want Stanford tripped up later.

But hawks have to win out to make any of this discussion worthwhile after the BCGame.

I watched some of that Pitt game and was impressed with what I saw from the Golden Domers.

WR Fuller looked like a legit playmaker.

I just don't get the whole "Big 10 will never get left out" talk. If it was a blue blood school I agree. But are they really going to screw the Big 12 for the second year in a row to make was for Iowa? That's what they will have to do if Clemson and ND win out.

The committee will render itself obsolete if it leaves out an undefeated big 10 team. We (BT) won the title last year. Winning the big ten undefeated is as sure of a lock to the cfp as Alabama getting more 5 star recruits year in and year out than us lol

So we're undefeated and now have two wins over ranked teams (in the coaches poll) I bet no one cares still

I think okie st undefeated...iowa/osu undefeated...clemson....alabama/notre dame...sorry lsu....2 of the 3 of alabama/notre dame/lsu if all win out and big 12 or big ten champ has a loss..save possibly ohio st but that would be a stretch.

Prediction....clemson(undefeated).....alabama....Ohio st (undefeated)....Notre dame.......iowa one loss to osu out....okie st and baylor trip up with a loss each or 2 out...stanford loses to nd and or utah out..Alabama steamrolls rest of the way...lsu out. Iowa replaces Ohio State above with win.

13-0 Iowa doesn't get jumped by 11-1 notre dame. It just won't happen.

You're wrong ND will be top 4 this week and would have to beat a highly ranked Stanford. Iowa will not jump them or Alabama. If we run the table our only hope is a 1 loss Big12 champ or we are out.

One Loss ND is a lock ... they have the name and have played a top 20 schedule

beat Stanford on the road and they are in

Even if Iowa wins out, including the BTCG, they can't get in. This week's top 4 will be Bama, Clemson, OSU, and LSU. LSU's loss to Bama will be looked at as a favorable loss and the two trends will swap.

Out this week(next 4) will be ND, Baylor, OkSt, Iowa.

When Iowa beats tOSU, in this scenario, LSU moves up and Nd moves in. Neither loses the rest of the year. Iowa jumps B12 undefeated to be at 5 if we're lucky.

I could be wrong, but I think LSU stays in the top 4.

I don't think there is any way they screw 2 undefeated power 5 champs to let in a 2nd SEC team.

There's virtually no way LSU stays in the top 4. Everyone else in the top 10 except TCU won.
