With all the excitement we experienced this afternoon of coach McCaffery getting a post season win, the next building block to making this program one of the nation's elite, i have decided to post this transcript of Todd lickliter when he compared his team to a horse on media day a couple years ago

Excellent progress in year two. Love the play of White; he will be a cornerstone of our rise to future March Madness runs. :)

Don't miss Lick one bit. I wish him and his 50's era offense all the best. He is a fine fit at a low or mid major program.

"Some of the things that you've got Matt Gatens, Andrew Brommer, Anthony Tucker, Aaron Fuller who have a lot of experience, and a good understanding. Then we've got terrific captains in Jarryd Cole and Devan Bawinkel. They are true leaders. I'm thankful for them.

Then John Lickliter who didn't play last year but has an understanding of the game, and may understand the coach better than most of the other guys, so he's got a little advantage there.

Then the new guys. We've got a walk on, Nick Neari who has been terrific. Cully Payne is a natural point guard. Brennan Cougill is still big. Devon Archie, a long, very energetic, has a terrific upside, a junior college player, and then Eric May."

You read those three paragraphs and it is obivious why the house was packed and jacked last night.

It is funny how there were no replies in that thread. I don't think anyone really cared what he had to say.

The photo of the empty arena. Ouch. Imagine if they dropped the curtain down so as to make the arena look full, there would be about 6 rows exposed. Truly painful.
