On the Willies Front

lol, I always laugh when someone is called a pre Madonna. I mean, the nerve of the guy to think that he actually came before Madonna. That's funny.

You laugh, I shake my head and feel my blood pressure rise when I think about our educational system that allows people to graduate while thinking that pre Madonna is correct. Is Willies pre Like a Virgin and Material Girl? Or perhaps so old that he predates the mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Either way if he's pre Madonna we shouldn't worry cause he's too damn old to be a good football player anyway.

Wow guys. The kid sounds like a real d!ck huh?

We sure can be judgemental, can't we. My dad lived a long ways away from me and, after being sick for awhile, passed away recently. I never knew how much to go see him and how much to stay with and tend to my immediate family. I was pulled in different directions and it was tough. I'm old so I can only imagine how tough it was for a 19 year old kid.

I hope we take him back cause it sounds like he's a good kid all in all.

It'll depend on the sit down meeting they end up having.... We aren't privy to everything... Obviously big shocker there. I think based on what we do know are facts I think he'll be back. When is anyones guess. If coach does not let him back either now or next year. Then that'll raise questions as to why not and that there's more smoke to the fire as to PT being a reason for him leaving as well... We weren't there when they sat down when he told coach he was leaving and we won't be there whenever they do sit down to hash this out. So we'll just have to see...

Now it wasn't him that came out with that PT was a reason or "the reason" it was CJ wasn't it? So Willies can tell coach something along the lines that sure he wasn't happy not playing much (has any WR ever not said that?) but to what extent it was the reason he decided to leave barely factored if it did at all. There has never been a backup happy with their role that just goes without saying...

It really wasn't CJs place to go there.. Although that's gold for us and media. It's just tough for kids to not answer questions when reporters start grilling them. Not everyone is Peyton Manning and can talk forever and not say anything. When it comes to stuff like that let the kid speak for himself. When it comes to PT and kids roles on the team I'm sure CJ wouldn't like it if Rudock started talking about him in a similar way...

Way to detect sarcasm, dude ...

Ferentz's own son was arrested TWICE in his first 12 months on campus and ol' Kirt never batted an eye about keeping him on the team. The only thing Willies is guilty of is having more athletic talent than the Ferentz sons combined.

Both James and Brian were touted as great centers in the Big Ten. Brian, if I remember correctly, was on All Big Ten lists his Junior and Senior years. James, I believe, was on during his Senior year (I may be getting them reversed). Steve, on the other hand...

If you mean speed, I agree.
