Must listen to. Even the generally even keeled Dochterman and Morehouse are absolutely ripping this offense, it's playcalling, and the entire offensive gameplan. Great discussion and discussion of what is wrong with this offense.

the cavalcade of criticisms directed at the program continue to be unparalleled in the Ferentz era.
I totally agree. I've never seen message boards this heated ever for football. At one time the fan base was divided but now it's pretty much like a tilting ship bound to sink. Like you pointed out Rick Brown of the Des Moines Register wasn't holding back.

These are strange times and one can't really argue something is rotten in Iowa City.

Not seeing or hearing any support for Ferentz anywhere. Not on this board, not on the street, not on call in shows, not in the media. Nowhere. That is unprecedented.

Hawk Talk is going to be interesting on Wednesday. I know they screen calls hard but they are going to have their work cut out for them that night.

I was so PO after the loss I went to basically every newspaper web page in Iowa I could to read about the opinion of Iowa, KF, and Davis. And they were all about saying the same thing. Davis was a horrible hire and KF playing not to lose.

How about when KF was hired instead of Stoops?

Or how about after WMU in 2007 while the Satterfield/Everson and CityBoyz drama were in full swing?

Not even paralleled after 2010 @Minny?

I think my first 2 examples are at least on the same level, and probably worse than right now.

1. Stoops not being hired, especially after Oklahoma had just won a National Championship
2. Current state of Iowa football
3. Jake Christensen "giving us the best chance to win"
4. Loss to Western Michigan in 2007 didn't hurt, as much, because we were free-falling as a program since the 2005 Northwestern loss (the Adam Shada salute seemed to be the turning point)

Was soooo looking forward to this. Now realizing, Wednesday is wifey's b-day. I suppose she expects me to take her out to eat or something.

...... it's just sad. Iowa has a 2-1 team with a roster full of for the most part healthy & good players and I along with most think the titanic has hit the ice berg. This can't continue if they expect wins. They just can't. Going deep once or twice a game to Vandeberg while Willies and Powell sit on bench most of the time never being targeted can not be a game plan. Scoring 3 points in the 2nd half against ISU at home win lose or draw can't be an option. I'm not going to go so far as to say Rudock isn't the guy. I don't think the coaches and the game plan is giving him a fair shake. I don't think Beathard would be able to do much more with his hands tied too. I'm just guessing on that but it's sad to see the better team not only lose but look so bad doing it.
