What a dual last night but disappointing! Giving updates @hagertony today for only hawk wrestlers and notables that get upset. Going on 2 hours of sleep so might not be the quickest kids

Any updates would be appreciated. Planned on being at the trials until a death in the family stopped it.
 
Thought I was going to have access to wifi but can't get password!!!! Sorry for no updates. Morningstar got beat, Lloyd got beat, steiber beat zadick in semis, Howe beat golden boy
 
I am in a business meeting today, so couldnt go to the trials....Does anyone hve a link to a site, so I can at least keep up with the results?

Very close match between Metcalf and Jordan Oliver. Metcalf won the 1st, Oliver the 2nd and then Metcalf a late TD in the 3rd to advance. Oliver did not make weight and had to wrestle up a weight class, so very impressive by him, but not quite enough.

Phil Keddy up against Ed Ruth. Lost the 1st round.

I tried finding them on several different sites and had no luck. Desmoinesregister.com had a link for brackets, but it had nothing filled in.

This is where the sport is seriously hurting themselves. The casual passer by fan or even those slightly more than that (like myself) but not an avid fan, cannot find enough info on the trials. There are no brackets, only a high level schedule, no place I could find any easy explanations of the rules (free style rules seem crazy to me, by the way) or even how these trials would work. Major room for improvement here if they want to advance the sport.
 
trackwrestling is great. maybe casual fans don't use it or know about it. not only are the brackets updated match by match but the dashboard keeps updated score by score.

Does this site do that for collegiate matches during the season as well? I've never seen anyone reference this match on the message boards over all the years I've been following. Seems like a great site.
 
Not sure about collegiate duals....it was available for nationals. And also for highschool state tourney. I know what you on coverage, I'm an avid fan of the sport and have sources to update me when I can't make to a match. Yet for the casual fan that doesn't know all the resources they are screwed!
