While I agree about the boxing out, you should include White and Utoff in the list of those who played poorly for the first 30 minutes. I think our front court was ready to hit the beach instead of play basketball. Maybe they'll get their game on against UTEP.

I would love to see Gabe start to disprove the rumor that Woody was promised he would start every game. Gabe is obviously much better at this stage.

Having the ability to leave one of your bigs in at the end of games is crucial so let's hope Gabe can keep it up and Woody continues to improve at the stripe.

Last year we lose that game, for a variety of reasons, but an obvious one is having a shot blocker in at the end rather than Mcabe at the 5.

Gabe making free throws was huge.

Its obvious that Gabe is playing better than AW right now. However Gabe's value off the bench is greater than Woody's value starting. Don't tinker with something thats working just fine.

I think the Woodbury experiment as a starter needs to stop. Not only is he not better than Gabe, he might not be as good as Meyer. We'll never know because Meyer won't get his minutes. We start out every game behind on the scoreboard because the first 3 or 4 plays are post feeds into Woodbury that end up in turnovers, offensive fouls or missed shots. If that's the OOC plan to try and bring Woody up to speed, fine. If that crap continues in BIG play, it will end up costing us a close game or 2. Mark my words.

I agree they did a poor job if boxing out. They better figure it out before we get to the B1G

To be fair to Woody at least two fouls were BS. Nice game for Gabe.

To be fair to everyone else, the fouls ARE a trend for Woodbury, so I am not sure we should be surprised or blaming anyone other than Woodbury. They might have been tough calls but they are what he is this year to date so I don't know that we should be surprised by the dumb fouls.
