I think the double H brain trust are the only two pushing for more of Gabe in prime time. I like what I see in Gabe, but what I see is a young kid with little basketball experience to go along with his excellent basketball physique. Let Fran teach him a little longer before he gets thrown to the wolves.
I believe Gabe is a long way from being ready for meaningful minutes.
He probably had more athleticism than the 5 albinos MSU sent out in mop up time.....against real players.....not so much.

I disagree that the best way to learn basketball is by doing it. If that where the case, every practice would simply be a scrimmage. Here is some news for you since you may have never seen an organized practice. They don't just scrimmage.
