Oklahoma tonite....Iowa take note

Just curious, have you watched any of the Browns games this past season? Josh Gordon can make any quarterback look good, he is an amazing receiver. Look at how good Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery made McCown look? There are people in Chicago suggesting that the Bears should let Cutler walk and go with McCown.

The Steelers and the Ravens??? Puhleese, they are in rebuild mode.

Yes, the Stillers and Ravens are in rebuilding mode and they both won twice as many games as Cleveland and were in the playoff hunt when week 17 kicked off. They both have great front offices. They will rebuild. I've been watching NFL way too long to expect Cleveland to do anything with its draft picks. And yes, Josh Gordon is awesome. But one good WR ain't enough. Perhaps Cleveland has turned a corner, though. That Trent Richardson trade rape was certainly epic. So epic, in fact, that if it had happened in my fantasy football league, I would have given the victim a compensatory third round pick, maybe second.

Love Stoops or hate em....he had his boys ready to play tonight. Game plan threw Bama completely on their heels. Oklahoma is NOT playing afraid of them, and is bloodying their nose time after time. Knock out is coming.....

Thats what you gotta do against them SEC teams. Gotta play ******, gotta blacken their eye from the kickoff. Like what we did against South Carolina a few years back and even the first time we played LSU. Kicked their ***** around.

Don't tell me we can't do that again. Played too scared and nice yesterday (on O, better on D). Shoulda took that fat *** Hill and completely shut him down, with that incompetent QB they had yesterday. Didn't do it. Lets see if we can do it again real soon though.

Yes, all KF needed was more cliches to overcome the obvious talent disparity between LSU and Iowa.

And who's fault is it Iowa doesn't have more talent, excuses, excuses, if teams in Idaho, Kansas, and Wisconsin can acquire speed at the skill position why can't Iowa?

Iowa used to have adequate speed, but not this year and that's on the head man in charge.

This years D was wasted, like most Iowa Football seasons there is always the what if, it gets old...

Put a coach in there like Bob Stoops and they get to 8-8 next season, at least. Plus keep in mind the expectations in Cleveland are not anywhere near what they are in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma has good speed at the skill positions.

This, and they executed really well when they needed to. And, I'll add, they took advantage of multiple turnovers.

Bamma's running game was very impressive IMO. They didn't always openen huge holes but their RBs were so athletic [ big strong fast] that they got through tight holes and made plays.

So...you agree with me that spouting cliches won't solve the talent disparity then?

And 'Bama's pass D is about as bad as tOSU's pass D. They're both bad on pass D.

Heck, IMO, Iowa's pass D was better than 'Bama's and tOSU's this season. Isn't that something?
