I know this is way way to early to talk about, but seeing as Iowa now has stopped playing every other day, this was something that sprung to mind this morning. As the Hawk has gone on a mini-slide (as it relates to their NCAA seed), the Cowboy has Marcus Smart back and has played themselves back into the dance quite possibly. My fear is we land in the 7 hole and play them as a 10 seed. That would be a bad draw. It is fun though to be thinking about seeding and possible bracket scenarios again. Thanks Franny!

Unless we lose both of our remaining regular season games and tank in the BTT, I see our floor as a 6 (split last 2 and win 1 in the BTT) and our ceiling as a 3 (if we swept the last 2 and won the BTT).

Let's just worry about MSU, then Illinois, then the BTT, then the NCAA's......Man I need a vacation....The only team we have to worry about is Iowa & who they play, not who they might play, let's get everyone back to the perspective that Iowa has to play one game at a time, and for right now we know who the last two remaining games are....after that, who cares...

just like I enjoy thinking about winning the lottery. You have to play to have a chance, and we are playing this year! It's been 8 years since anyone has had the chance to dream about seed scenarios. Let it be.

I care too. You are not the coach talking to the team bra. Speculating and mental masturbation are what these boards are all about. So as a fan, I need to "take it one game at a time?" Why? If I don't, what will happen? By your logic then, no one should care about recruiting, coaching changes, etc.. because all we should focus on is the next game ahead....and nothing else. In the end, we control nothing, yet we invest in it emotionally and financially because we enjoy talking about possibilities.

Why would you fear OK State? They are like 7th in the Big8. Smart is an idiot. Fran could easy come up with a plan to dismantle them.
