Big 10 and friends

League of extraordinarily schools
Really we don't want ISU conference

The Big Ten already has eleven schools. Adding another one won't affect the name.

Why not the conference's original name, The Western Conference? I know it makes no sense geographically, but it is tradition.

Whats wrong with keeping the name the same??
Currently there are 11 teams in the BigTen so if we add 1,3or 5 what makes the difference as far as the name goes?
All the new superconferences would be wise to keep the name the same, no matter how many schools are in them. Pac10,Big Ten, SEC, ACC etc.
I couldnt tell you how many schools are in the ACC currently.
My point is that college sports fans now, and will, know what schools are in what conference and they dont care if the number in the name matches the number of members.
Its much the same as when an established business in a community changes ownership and the new ownership paying big money to keep the name. It is because it is a known .....Its a brand, and the Big Ten is a brand that should stick around no matter how many member schools it has.

The Big Ten will stay the same. There will be Ten schools in a classic division and 6 in a special division. The special division will include Texas, ND, Nebby, PSU, TAMU, and Baylor.

Texas and ND of the special division will only have to play 5 conference games, while the classic division and the less special teams from the special division will play 9 games. Qualification for post-season play will only hinge on total number of in-conference losses. Also, the special -special teams will be provided with special private jets for transportation. The rest of the special division will be provided with "special" buses to transport the special people they are.
