OK -- how did Oklahoma ever lose?

Yeah--they definitely had talent.

I'm not sure I would have picked Bradford if I were St. Louis. That is a lot of money to spend on a throwing shoulder that was injured twice.
 
Oklahoma gets it done with talent at skill positions. Those are usually top picks. Lineman usually go later. That's where Iowa's picks usually come from.

I wouldn't have taken Bradford, or any QB for that matter. QB is the singular most important position. But while it's the most important piece of the puzzle, it's the last piece of the puzzle. Bradford has shown a lack of durability when he gets hit, and in St. Louis, he's going to get hit a lot. He also has almost no experience in pressure situations. And the few opportunities that he did have, he lost. Is that really a quality you want in a franchise QB at #1 overall?
