Ok So some people say that Nebraska fans are stuck in the past. So lets talk about the Future, November 25th to be exact. That game will be decided in the trenches Iowas strength is in the O-line for sure and we will see IF Coker is what ppl think he is (still unproven IMO). The huskers strength is the defense, the d-line and LBs will be more than up to the task of the run game with two starters returning from injury last year that never even saw the field. And a offense that needs to show up this year. My biggest question is WHO is gonna rush the passer? who is gonna collapse the pocket and stuff the hole? The husker o-line is no Iowa o-line but believe me they are more than capable of getting it done.
And all the talk about how nebraska cant hold up against the big ten sized RBs? i believe the biggest back in the big 10 is IAs coker at 6ft 230. the other premier rushers are Monty ball 5-11 210, james white 5-10 195, dan herron 5-10 205, edwin baker 5-9 208. while yes coker has size, but people act like the big ten is filled with NFL size backs. Besides encase ppl havent noticed the big ten has been higher than average in passing numbers the last few years. And Nebraska can surely handle that.
