Ohio to be without Wideout for Rose Bowl

ESPN's Adam Rittenberg is reporting that Ohio's 3rd leading receiver, along with Rob Rose a defensive end will not be eligible to play in the Rose Bowl.

Posted for those who have not made out their Bowl picks, yet

:)

Typical OSU....keep them eligible thru the Big Ten season, then reality hits, and now they will go out and get hammered and make the league look bad in the Rose Bowl.
And next year...same two will be back playing again...what a system.

I don't see OSU getting hammered, with or without the WR. Oregon's sitting on an awfully high pedestal these days. They're very explosive offensively, but OSU's D is going to give them problems.

I tend to agree with you. I hope you're right. The B10 is (unfortunately) judged by how theeee OSU does.

If the B10 wins the two BCS bowls, people will give the B10 props.

Hey, Dean.

Not that others haven't pointed it out, but you will be taken more seriously if you refer to the school in Columbus as Ohio State University and not Ohio.

Thawki---------This is a HAWKEYE message board. Relax, my Hawkeye friend. No need to pay deference to your boys, at ohio, maurice clarett's team.

Ohio is how I'll always refer to Ohio. Always have always will........not following the lemmings to thee ohio university.

Merry Christmas Hawkeye fans!

You're either a Hawk, or you're Not

Dean, just to be clear.

I wasn't trying to get you to call them THE Ohio University. After all, they are Ohio STATE University. Note the word STATE. I am no fan of theirs, but you don't look real knowledgeable if you refer to them as Ohio.
