Oh Sparty you've got trouble

It is the modern way of doing things, lie, make up stories, falsify details, etc. It is rampant and people have learned that they can get away with about anything.

For the amount of money these coaches are paid, if they want to exercise their authority and let shady guys into the school, they should be liable under negligence theories for any harm that marginal characters cause to the student body for serious crimes. I don't mean if a guy got detention once in high school and then punches some guy in the ped mall in a fight type of stuff, but some of these guys, like Bone Crusher, have no business anywhere near a college campus. If Dantonio wants to bring them in, fine, but he better have a babysitter assigned 24/7 to those guys. Just disgusting.

The Michigan state legislature covered for MSU on a series of sexual assaults. The school’s board of regents also supported what has been a culture of corruption that has resulted in abuses against people. It’s downright shocking that Dantonio and Izzo are both still employed.

Sadly, MSU will survive this without a hiccup.

I guess what I find the most surprising is that after "dozens of interviews and months of investigation" the attorney's only released 13 pages of findings and declared the staff did nothing wrong. Seriously only 13 pages??? Sure sounds like a thorough investigation to me.

They went with Helvectica.

They should have known better and went with Times New Roman.

Much better than an old Italian

A coach at MSU, tells Dantonio that he doesn't want this recruit on the same campus as his daughter. Dantonio recruited him anyway. The guy, Robertson, is now serving 10 years for sexual assault on the campus. The kid had two priors in HS for sexual assault.

Dantonio is a freaking scumbag, win at all costs prick.

Other interesting quote from article:

declared Dantonio and his staff did nothing wrong, but did suggest Blackwell didn't handle the situation by way of proper protocol when he learned about the party. The report suggests Blackwell launched his own investigation, which he denied.

Blackwell declined to be interviewed by Jones Day.

This shit happens in college sports a lot. Something shitty happens. They blame some underling for not following protocol.

Same shit happened at Louisville when the hooker allegations dropped. The talking head response was: "Why won't this 28 year old kid making 32k who master minded the whole operation just come clean so Coach Pitino can clear his otherwise stellar name?" These people are all disgusting.

Exactly right, when you control the investigators, you pretty much can do whatever you want and spin everything the way you want. It's criminal behavior and it should have been conducted by a true third party FBI type of unit.

Yeah, with the current stellar reputation of the FBI, what could go wrong?
